Dear Members, 
                          Since September of last year, I have transmitted 124 Subjects
from Calumnia and enjoyed every one of them but recently I have been guilty 
of inadvertently allowing my own experience to become a subject and not 
always that from Calumnia. It has been a great honour to have had such a
Teacher assigned to me.

I have sent a letter of my resignation to Ron as a transmitter and as a member
of the discussion Forum. It has been a pleasure to know you all and I shall
miss you, but I will continue being about Father´s business for as long as
I remain here.

It only remains for me to thank all of you for your friendship and I wish you
success in any and all of your endevours.

In many countries of the world, their traditions and customs quite often
include a form of asceticism. Those who participate deny themselves certain
pleasures for a period of time. It can be to abstain from certain foods or drink,
sexual relations, or anything else that is considered to benefit from such
denial.

Muslims celebrate Ramadan for thirty days, which is held each ninth month of
their year. Christians have a similar tradition that lasts for forty days and it is
called Lent.

The object of all forms of asceticism is to learn discipline by controlling the
desires of the physical body, in all its forms. Mind over matter is a well-known
objective but how many really accomplish this in their lives?

When you don´t eat for a while you begin to feel hunger, this is natural and
what you don´t want need to do is to think of your favourite meal. This is the
crux of the matter. What you think and what you feel. If you can control
your thoughts you can control your hunger.

Think about this. You are a smoker and you are out of cigarettes. You are
dying for a smoke and finally, you have to ask someone if they would give 
you one. You are lucky, you are given one, now the question, at that moment,
do you smoke that cigarette or does that cigarette smoke you?  When you sit
at the table and in front of you is your favourite meal, do you eat it or does
it eat you?  When you crash out on your sofa after a long day at work, do
you sit on it, or does it sit on you? The big question is, can you resist such
temptation when you need something so badly?

It is only by denying your body certain things that you are able to identify
the different causes of certain appetites. You will come to understand that
there are forces at work that bring to you such appetites.

There are Material, Vegetal, Animal, and Human forces that greatly influence
your appetites and that is the main reason why you need to identify which
one is operating at you at any given time, and when you have identified them
it is like you have flushed out an enemy and from that moment on you will
have greater success in controlling your habits.

Do you remember your teenage years?  You may have been a big headache
for your parents who often found you lounging in an armchair, gazing into
space, and obviously contemplating another world. Do you remember the
dreams you had, and how you imagined them all coming true? Do you
remember how you felt at that time?  You felt wonderfully excited!
Ah, "those were the days", you may say.

Well, those days are long gone! Are your dreams long gone as well?
You know what they say; "if you haven´t got a dream how do you expect
them to come true"? Also; "if you haven´t got a dream, what have you got"?

Your thoughts have power. Your imagination can create wonders, you know
that, so how is it that your dreams haven´t come true? You create your own
reality, this you also know but it was a pity that you were not taught this when 
you were young. A dream is a wish that comes from the heart, that´s why you
feel excited when you let your imagination run free. There is no limit, only
that which you set for yourself. So perhaps it is time for you to dream again.

Remember, we had a recent subject in which we talked about it being never
too late. Well, it is never too late to dream, and although your present dreams
will be totally different from your youthful ones, nevertheless, they are just
as valued as ever. Can you put a price on a dream? No, of course, you can´t
because dreams are priceless. Then if dreams are priceless, how could you
have discarded such treasures you once had?

It is never too late for anything, unless you are dead, then indeed it is too late.
Until death overtakes you, you are free to dream again and to feel again that 
excitement welling up from deep inside that stirs you to the very core of 
your being.

Relive your forgotten dreams and see if this time they come true.
They can and they will if they are for your highest good and for the highest
good of all, and that is something you would truly wish for. Is it not?

You are all aware of the law of attraction, how like attracts like, and how you
are drawn to a certain person or a particular interest. You know the saying;
"Birds of a feather flock together". There are so many old sayings and
proverbs that people take for granted without really understanding all the
implications. Why are you attracted? What is it really that attracts you?
Is it just attraction to physical beauty, a beautiful sunset, moonlight on a lake?
Whatever the reason, there are two things at play here.

Something or someone draws you in. In other words, it is an outer attraction
that pulls at your feelings and you find yourself drawn to whatever it is.
On the other hand, you draw something or someone to you. In other words, 
it is an inner attraction. You instantly like what you see and you feel it.
You have all experienced a moment when your liking or disliking of a person
is instant, and simply because there was no attraction between you.

The Law of Attraction is universally recognized, especially regarding Light.
All of creation is attracted to light, and for a very simple reason. Without light,
there would be no creation. Your original attraction is to the Light of God, but
you were not aware of it until fairly recently. Are you fully aware of it now?
Father draws you into Himself via your Thought Adjuster. This is everyone´s
first attraction but they are not aware of it, how can they be when they are 
only children?

God is Light and you all have a spark of this same Light within. Therefore,
let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and
glorify your Father, which is in heaven.

In all human edeavour, trust and confidence amongst those involved at all
levels are a must. There can be no successful outcome of any kind without
the trust and confidence of all parties. A betrayal of trust leaves one feeling
sick with sorrow and dissolution. Have you ever been betrayed by a friend?
Then you know how it feels and the saddest thing of all, is that the trust can
never be regained.

You wouldn´t refer to a betrayal in friendship as treason but in essence, it is
the same. Even within a family, members can often feel betrayed when 
something of a confidential nature has been relayed to all, and as in most
families, there is always the one who doesn´t seem to fit in with the others.
You have often heard it said that he or she is the "black sheep" of the family.
Whatever the reason for any and all forms of betrayal the results are the same,
feelings of desolation, despair, and deep sadness.

Imagine now, if you can, how can anyone betray their country, which really is
treason. It goes against the grain of the innate honesty and integrity of the
vast majority of the population. Yet what is it that can cause someone to be
a turncoat? There has always been lies and deception within the circles of 
those who have power and the ambition to achieve at all cost their desires,
and this is where the seeds of treachery are sown. This beautiful planet
Urantia has suffered the consequences of such treachery over many thousands
of years. Such can be the devastating results of treason.

You have all come to know your beloved Indwelling. You have faith and trust
in Him. It is He that has lovingly and faithfully led and guided you to where
you are now. Could you deny this? Could you betray his love for you?
Could you be a turncoat and deny His very existence? Could you, would you?
Of course not! Treason is not in you! Betrayal is not in you! Ever!

To love and to be loved in return is what makes your life worthwhile.
No matter the seemingly countless trials and tribulations you face in life, when
love rules your hearts there is never room for anything else.

In general, people love music and even your Shakespeare suggested in 
Twelfth Night that, " If music be the food of love, play on". People love being
moved by music. The emotions that arise from within and surge up through
the heart can easily bring tears to the eyes. Just think of all the movies with
romantic music that you enjoyed in your younger years. The symphonies
of the great composers, operas with the most beautiful arias sung by 
internationally acclaimed artists are just some examples of music indeed,
being the food of love. It is through such feelings that one is inspired to give
thanks for such a beautiful art form that music is. Can you imagine life
without it?

Another type of music can inspire people to patriotism and nationalism and
can even further inspire them to wage war. The sound of fife and drum has
moved thousands of young to join the ranks and go to war. It is no secret that
sound waves enter your body and stir up the kind of emotions that move you
into action.  North American Indians had their dance rituals with drum beats.
African tribes have also used drums in their ritual dancing. The rhythmic
beating of the drum goes hand-in-hand with the need to move the body.

It is true to say that all sound has an effect and music is a quality of sound that
in general, people like.  The difference in style is a personal choice as to 
which one you prefer to listen to at any given moment. One is not always in
the mood for Beethoven´s 5th or a Chopin Nocturne but there is always
plenty to choose from. One thing is for sure, you all know the type of music
that you do not like and cannot support listening to for a moment.

One becomes much more discerning in all aspects of life as the years roll by
and your likes and dislikes can change like everything else, but your love and
appreciation for music is a constant source of joy and therefore Shakespeare
may have been right after all. "If music be the source of love, play on".

Today´s subject is one of the most important because it deals with sound.
All sound has a source and dependant on that source is its quality.
It is true to say that your world suffers terribly from sound pollution.
Noise can be used as a form of torture, you all know that and it has been
used successfully by many nations, but the sound we are considering today
is the sound of Music.

Throughout human history, music has been recognized not only as pleasing to 
the ear but also for the smoothing of emotions. What is music for one may be  
cacophony for someone else, so we need to define what we mean by music.
Music is balm for the soul. An art, like all true art, touches your soul and can
open up your supple energy centers. There is no question about this. 
The great master composers of the past have all been inspired from above and
that is why "good" music touches your soul and feelings more than any other
because of its spiritual content.

You all know what is referred to as classical music but there is also a plethora
of other styles that are pleasing to some and not to others. It is not my
intention to make any suggestion as to what is good or bad music, but it is
quite obvious that the listeners decide for themselves which style they prefer.

Most of you here on the Forum have grown up in a society that had such a
plethora of styles of music for you to enjoy or reject and it is interesting to
note that the majority prefer the classics. Why do you suppose this is?

As a follow on from yesterday´s "Now is all",  you may have realized that you
have all the time in the world, as you live in a never-ending Now.
Many people regret not having done things when they had the opportunity
to do when they were young. In later years, when the children are grown and
have left the home, people have the chance to follow their dreams but too
many say to themselves that it is too late.

It is never too late when you live in a constant Now.
It is never too late to say, "I love you".
It is never too late to say, "I´m sorry"
It is never too late to forgive or to ask for forgiveness.

Why put off for another day what you would really enjoy doing today?
Why not go and see that someone that you long to see again?
Falling in and out of love is a necessary learning experience for you to choose
a life partner and it is never too late to fall in love again.
It is never too late for anything when you set your heart on doing it and when
it is sincerely heartfelt, it comes from your inner, so just do it and be happy.

All of you would enjoy such satisfaction from accomplishing those things
that you thought you never could because it was too late.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE

It is very difficult for you to imagine life without time, and yet you have been
told many times to live in the Now. There being no Past and no Future, there
is only Now. Every moment, every instant is an unending Now. How are you
ever going to understand it? Your mind rejects it, but that is only because
you have never seriously considered it, and if you never seriously consider
anything, how are you going to know?  You never will!

Imagine a pile of large dinner plates all stacked up on top of each other.
Now imagine there is a pole through the center of each of them, keeping them
from toppling over. Now imagine that each plate is rotating at its appointed
speed and appointed direction, clockwise or anticlockwise. If you were able
to see through all of them from above, you would recognize that although
they were all different and pursuing their designated trajectories, they were
all at the same Now.

A stack of ten plates, for example, can represent ten galaxies or constellations.
All are governed and administered by those who created them and they were
not concerned about the time it took them. 

This perhaps can help you to understand a little that your life, like all life, 
is an endless series of Now instants and each and every one of them is Holy,
if you could only recognize them as such.

From time to time, some of you may have had the feeling that everything
in your life is on hold, or you feel that nothing is really happening and that
you seem to be standing still. This can be a very frustrating time for you.
Similarly, there are those days when everything that needs to be done, for one
reason or another, doesn´t get done. It´s like those moments when you are
in a hurry and all the traffic lights are red. Very frustrating!

Well, there´s a reason for everything, and although it may make no sense
to you, it is always for your benefit. "God moves in mysterious ways His
wonders to perform", is a well-known saying and it is true. If you were more
aware of the times when your guardians or guides were influential in your
daily lives you would be much more patient whilst waiting at the traffic lights.
Many accidents have been avoided by their intervention but it is always with
the permission of the Thought Adjuster.

So, the next time you lose your cool and are foaming at the mouth with
frustration, try to remember the reason and above all give thanks to your
invisible family for possibly saving your life by putting you on hold.

 Today´s subject is a very simple one but nevertheless very important.
You have the saying, "Rome wasn´t built in a day", and neither were you.
You all understand that your formation and preparation for your destined
work has taken many years. It could not have been squeezed into a few years
of intense learning and if you had known from the beginning the plans that
your Thought Adjuster had for you, you would have been shocked and full of
disbelief.

You have been advised many times to take your time. When you rush through
the day, trying to keep up with your schedule, you run the risk of causing 
your own downfall. Maybe some of you have already experienced this and 
have learned a valuable lesson. You have another saying, "Fools rush in where
angels fear to tread".  The tension and anxiety that results from rushing
around like a frenzied fly will do you no good at all. So, take your time.

Interestingly enough, your beloved Indwelling  has all the time in the world,
and if you could only surrender to Him by allowing Him to organize your day,
you would quickly discover that you have time for everything.
Jesus never did anything in a hurry. He consulted His Thought Adjuster in all
matters and you can do the same.

They say that the quickest way to break a habit is to form another one. Well,
I am now recommending to all of you the habit of taking your time, and you
will automatically, by allowing your T/A to plan your day.

It´s you, yes, you! Both singular and plural, you! It´s all up to you!
What are you going to do? What can you do? What do you want to do, really
and sincerely? You need, now more than ever, to listen to your Indwelling and
monitor the resulting feelings. Remember, your Thought Adjuster will prompt
your thoughts and your Soul will touch your feelings. The moment is rapidly
approaching when you will be called upon to make the most important
decision in your life, and when you say "Yes", you will have committed 
yourself for the rest of your life to the Missions.

Most of you already know in your heart of hearts where your future lies but
for the rest of you, do not think you are obligated in any way because you are
not. Not all who are called will respond and not all who respond will be
chosen, although you may wish with all your heart to work for Father, it
will be your Thought Adjuster who makes the final decision. Remember it is
He who is now guiding you through your ascension yourney and it is He who
knows where, when, and how to lead you. You do not!

Remember also, you are so deeply loved, beyond your understanding. You
are known and admired by so many beings from afar who cannot fathom how
Urantia has managed to produce some humans such as yourselves. Whether
or not your future work is here on the planet, your standing, in the eyes of
so many will astound you. Be comforted and at peace with this.

Whatever you may be called upon to do in the future, whether individually or
in a group activity, it will likely involve establishing something. It may be
of the simplest kind or the most complicated of requirements. When it
becomes necessary to establish something, anything, everything, it will
always pass through three phases until it can be deemed to be successful.

The needs are always the same for all and everything. All businesses are first
established, then stabilized, and finally sustained. Whatever it is and wherever
it is, it will need to be administered and this means finding the right people
to do it. No business can administer itself, it will always need staff who are
suitably qualified for their particular tasks, and finding the right person for the 
job is never easy.

Whatever it is that has been established, it needs time for those involved to
have achieved the stability that is fundamental for the success of any business.
Without stability in any human endeavour, sustainability will be impossible.
On the simplest of levels, your body needs the stability of daily feeding and
watering and being sustained by the constant supply that the body requires.
Business is the same. Need, demand and supply.

The world will soon be witness to the Missions that are in the process of being
established and sooner or later you may be called upon to participate in some
way. When the Missions are seen to be working well and stabilized, they will 
need to be sustained and this will only come about by the constant and 
committed involvement of those of you who are to be employed.

There is nothing more stable and reliable than a three-legged stool.
A three-pronged business of establishing, stabilizing, and sustaining will
always endure. A sustainable thought, word, and deed can achieve wonders.

Father´s love and consideration for His children are boundless and endless.
The New Universe Age, still in its infancy, has brought with it the need for
change on all levels and for all beings, including humans.

You should have realized by now that it is no accident you read these lessons
and that, in fact, you are being groomed for special tasks in the future.
Your conscious awareness of, and your cooperation with your Indwelling,
together with your sincere desire to be of service, has not gone unnoticed.

Father has seen the need for a New Order of Sonship and that those of you
who are ordained into this new order will be instrumental in the development
of the Outer Space Levels. (OSL)  Your grooming will continue, as the nature 
of your future duties will be of such high standing, that the requirement of 
Finaliter status is a must.

Your Thought Adjusters have been preparing you for such high duties from
the moment you decided to dedicate your lives to Father and it is to your
great credit, that you have been earmarked for such.

You still have a long way to go but your future ascension is guaranteed and
the relationship you enjoy with your Indwelling will be an ever closer one
until your Fusion takes place.

It is such a common question that is asked by all people throughout the world.
How are you feeling today", or something similar. You never ask them, 
"how are you thinking today? Why do you suppose that is? Is it because you 
all have the innate knowledge that it is your feelings that control your lives?

Well, let us consider feelings and how you are constantly influenced by them.
You all know how you feel when you hear good news. When you heard that
you passed your driving test, for example, you were so excited even thrilled.
You feel so very different when you hear of the death of a loved one.
You have all experienced the heights and depths of feelings and so you know
how you are moved by them.

How are you feeling? What are you feeling? Why are you feeling anything?
Quite simply, if you are not feeling anything you are dead! If you feel
something, you are alive. You may have woken up one day to find yourself
in a hospital bed and a nurse asking you, "how are you feeling"? She would
never ask you, "how are you thinking"?

It is quite obvious that your feelings can rule your lives and you have often
struggled between your thoughts and your feelings. You have had to make
some difficult decisions sometimes but couldn´t make up your mind and so
you "slept on it", and in the morning you knew what to decide because you
felt it, not thought it.

Let your feelings be your guide. It is through your feelings that your soul
influences you and it is your beloved Indwelling that influences your thoughts.
And so, between the two of them, if you pay attention, you will always be
guided in doing the best possible for you and for everyone else.
