SOPHIA
“Amethyst Dear, the transmission that you  received earlier in the week is from the ones as you wrote on the transmission, and you can post it now.”

Amethyst:  This is in reference to the other transmission I just posted.  I was not sure of its origin.

SOPHIA
“I am often with you and you sense my presence behind your right shoulder and as being about 20 feet tall.  The reason for this is to relay to you my completion status.  I have been provided to you for extra protection, and to pass transmissions through you to forward to the forum.  You will, of course continue receiving from others, but I am to be your primary contact.  You have shown that you are able to pick up much from the personalities of the Infinite Spirit, but not so much with the of the Eternal Father and Son just yet, but they will come through stronger with the passage of time.

“Tonight I want to continue on with Larry’s message from Margul about being alert.  Your Bible says that when Jesus will return, it will be as a thief in the night.  It is worded this way because all will be silent, many will be asleep (figuratively), and it will not be expected.  So this alertness is paramount at this time. A reason their have been fewer transmission during this last week is to allow you and others to remove yourselves from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and its responsibilities.  Don’t become so absorbed in any activity so much that you are not paying attention to the energy of this planet at this time.  Be still. Be prepared. Be focused and guard your responses as much as possible when the dam breaks loose.  Give assistance to those that you can, while keeping a low profile.

“Many extra transport seraphim are being assembled on Urantia at this time in preparation for the need to take many souls to the mansion worlds, and many of those who do transmit through you are, for the time being, attending to other duties as they assist these angels and other celestial beings who will be need to be made ready.   Also, there is a small chance that planetary evacuations might be needed as was mention in Larry’s post. Those who are responsible for this, will need further preparation as well.  Another reason is there are physical changes taking place of some of the forum members that are briefly making transmissions more difficult to receive, but I will say no more about that at this time.  So you see there is a reason for the temporary decline in transmissions.

“This planet is teeming with almost all classifications of celestials involved in the evolutionary beings in preparation for what is to come.  There has never before been so many on Urantia since her beginning, and will probably never need such a high number again in the future.  But even we do not know exactly what is to come, although we have been given some information regarding the earth changes.  We don’t know when and how all of this will play out.  But this is one of the biggest hub-pubs I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot.  To say that the behemoth assemblage is huge is a gross understatement.

“Planning is close to being on schedule and that is why you as well as other transmitters are being prompted to be alert.  We want to make sure you get the message loud and clear.”
END

Nice reception Amethyst, I love reading your receptions of messages transmitted by our beloved Heavenly Beings!

Maybe a stupid question on my part, but, are we talking here about 'THE RAPTURE'?

Thank you, Amethyst and SOPHIA for this transmission!

The return of Jesus Christ is likened to the coming of a thief in the night. Two passages use the wording “a thief in the night”: Matthew 24:43, “Understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into,” and 1 Thessalonians 5:2, “You know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”

In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks of His second coming at the end of the tribulation. Paul calls it “the day of the Lord” in 1 Thessalonians 5. This is a day of divine retribution featuring astronomical upheaval and the visible “sign of the Son of Man” in the heavens (Matthew 24:29–30). Jesus says it will happen “after the tribulation of those days” (verse 29, ESV), a description that distinguishes this event from the rapture, which happens before the tribulation.

=======

Hello Antonio. Thank you for transcribing the Bible passages that say "Jesus will come as a thief of the night" without people noticing. By this, Jesus spoke to be watchful, or in other words, be alert.

Thessalonians 1, chapter 5, verses 1 and 2:

1 Brethren, concerning times and seasons, there is no need for me to write to you;
 2 for you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. "

=======

Likewise, thank you for transcribing the biblical passage that says that Jesus will come after the great desolation (tribulation) and that if it were not abbreviated would not survive any human being, that is, no one would be saved.

Matthew, chapter 24, verses 21 and 22

21 - "For in that time there will be great tribulation, as it has been from the beginning of the world until now there has been and will never be.
 22 If those days had not been shortened, no one would be saved; but for the sake of the elect, such days shall be shortened. . "

=======

Guidance to escape to the mountains (higher regions) and that left immediately (of the regions of risk).

 Matthew, chapter 24, verses 15 to 18:

 15 And when ye shall see the abomination of the desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, in the holy place (he that readeth understanding),
 16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
 17 Let him that is on the housetop go not down to take anything out of the house;
 18 And let him that is in the field not turn back to seek his garment. ".

=======

The return of Jesus after the great desolation (tribulation).

Matthew, chapter 24, verses 29 and 30

29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from the expanse, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven; all the peoples of the earth will mourn and see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

=======

1 Irmãos, relativamente aos tempos e às épocas, não há necessidade de que eu vos escreva;

=======

=======

 Mateus, capítulo 24, versículos 15 a 18:

 16    então, os que estiverem na Judéia fujam para os montes;
 17    quem estiver sobre o eirado não desça a tirar de casa alguma coisa;

=======

Dear Antonio, your question is not as ‘stupid’ as it seems to be. Indeed, if we go by the explanation given by the churches to the expression ‘The Rapture’ – the transporting of believers to heaven at the Second Coming of Christ – a not too enlighten reader can be confused, but what has been said in the post above is that there is a possibility for Celestial interventions to move a whole population to a safe place, beside the preparation of hosting souls on the mansion worlds for those who will not withstand the forthcoming disasters. This has nothing to do with ‘The Rapture’ as it is taught by the ‘millenarians’, according to my understanding. Domtia
Oh, Lord ! I am your servant, I am your liege, it is my will to have your will be done, I am yours for eternity.

Antonio and Clency--NO, this is not a reference to the rapture; it simply means that Jesus will return, and earth changes will occur suddenly at an unexpected, quiet time.  People will be unaware and not prepared.  It puts emphasis on us to BE ALERT.  Hope this helps.

                               Just to complement, I searched the Urantia Book for the passages corresponding to those in the Bible.
                              Concerning to be vigilant, and the parable of the thief that comes at night. I located the passage from the Urantia Book that talks about when he would leave the apostles, Book of Urantia, document 165 - The Perean Mission Begins . 5. Talks to the Apostles on Wealth.

165:5.5 (1824.1) “But in the work which is just ahead of us, and in that which remains for you after I go to the Father, you will be grievously tried. You must all be on your watch against fear and doubts. Every one of you, gird up the loins of your minds and let your lamps be kept burning. Keep yourselves like men who are watching for their master to return from the marriage feast so that, when he comes and knocks, you may quickly open to him. Such watchful servants are blessed by the master who finds them faithful at such a great moment. Then will the master make his servants sit down while he himself serves them. Verily, verily, I say to you that a crisis is just ahead in your lives, and it behooves you to watch and be ready.

165:5.6 (1824.2) “You well understand that no man would suffer his house to be broken into if he knew what hour the thief was to come. Be you also on watch for yourselves, for in an hour that you least suspect and in a manner you think not, shall the Son of Man depart.”

165:5.7 (1824.3) For some minutes the twelve sat in silence. Some of these warnings they had heard before but not in the setting presented to them at this time.

=======

On the other hand, the part narrated by Matthew chapter 24 has correspondence with the Urantia Book, document 176 - Tuesday Evening on Mount Olivet . In document 176 of the Urantia Book I highlight the following parts:

4. The Return of Michael
176:4.1 (1918.4) Of all the Master’s teachings no one phase has been so misunderstood as his promise sometime to come back in person to this world. It is not strange that Michael should be interested in sometime returning to the planet whereon he experienced his seventh and last bestowal, as a mortal of the realm. It is only natural to believe that Jesus of Nazareth, now sovereign ruler of a vast universe, would be interested in coming back, not only once but even many times, to the world whereon he lived such a unique life and finally won for himself the Father’s unlimited bestowal of universe power and authority. Urantia will eternally be one of the seven nativity spheres of Michael in the winning of universe sovereignty. *

176:4.2 (1918.5) Jesus did, on numerous occasions and to many individuals, declare his intention of returning to this world. As his followers awakened to the fact that their Master was not going to function as a temporal deliverer, and as they listened to his predictions of the overthrow of Jerusalem and the downfall of the Jewish nation, they most naturally began to associate his promised return with these catastrophic events. But when the Roman armies leveled the walls of Jerusalem, destroyed the temple, and dispersed the Judean Jews, and still the Master did not reveal himself in power and glory, his followers began the formulation of that belief which eventually associated the second coming of Christ with the end of the age, even with the end of the world.

176:4.3 (1918.6) Jesus promised to do two things after he had ascended to the Father, and after all power in heaven and on earth had been placed in his hands. He promised, first, to send into the world, and in his stead, another teacher, the Spirit of Truth; and this he did on the day of Pentecost. Second, he most certainly promised his followers that he would sometime personally return to this world. But he did not say how, where, or when he would revisit this planet of his bestowal experience in the flesh. On one occasion he intimated that, whereas the eye of flesh had beheld him when he lived here in the flesh, on his return (at least on one of his possible visits) he would be discerned only by the eye of spiritual faith.

176:4.4 (1919.1) Many of us are inclined to believe that Jesus will return to Urantia many times during the ages to come. We do not have his specific promise to make these plural visits, but it seems most probable that he who carries among his universe titles that of Planetary Prince of Urantia will many times visit the world whose conquest conferred such a unique title upon him.

176:4.5 (1919.2) We most positively believe that Michael will again come in person to Urantia, but we have not the slightest idea as to when or in what manner he may choose to come. Will his second advent on earth be timed to occur in connection with the terminal judgment of this present age, either with or without the associated appearance of a Magisterial Son? Will he come in connection with the termination of some subsequent Urantian age? Will he come unannounced and as an isolated event? We do not know. Only one thing we are certain of, that is, when he does return, all the world will likely know about it, for he must come as the supreme ruler of a universe and not as the obscure babe of Bethlehem. But if every eye is to behold him, and if only spiritual eyes are to discern his presence, then must his advent be long deferred.

176:4.6 (1919.3) You would do well, therefore, to disassociate the Master’s personal return to earth from any and all set events or settled epochs. We are sure of only one thing: He has promised to come back. We have no idea as to when he will fulfill this promise or in what connection. As far as we know, he may appear on earth any day, and he may not come until age after age has passed and been duly adjudicated by his associated Sons of the Paradise corps.

176:4.7 (1919.4) The second advent of Michael on earth is an event of tremendous sentimental value to both midwayers and humans; but otherwise it is of no immediate moment to midwayers and of no more practical importance to human beings than the common event of natural death, which so suddenly precipitates mortal man into the immediate grasp of that succession of universe events which leads directly to the presence of this same Jesus, the sovereign ruler of our universe. The children of light are all destined to see him, and it is of no serious concern whether we go to him or whether he should chance first to come to us. Be you therefore ever ready to welcome him on earth as he stands ready to welcome you in heaven. We confidently look for his glorious appearing, even for repeated comings, but we are wholly ignorant as to how, when, or in what connection he is destined to appear.

=======

                           Apenas para complementar, eu pesquisei no Livro de Urantia as passagens correspondentes às existentes na Bíblia.
                           Em relação a sermos vigilantes, e a parábola do ladrão que vem durante a noite. Localizei a passagem do Livro de Urantia que fala sobre quando ele iria deixar os apóstolos, Livro de Urantia, documento 165 - A Missão na Pereira Tem Início. 5. Conversas com os apóstolos sobre a riqueza.

=======
                                       Por outro lado, a parte narrada por Mateus capítulo 24 tem correspondência com o Livro de Urantia, documento 176 - Terça Feira à noite no Monte das Oliveiras.
                                       No documento 176 do Livro de Urantia eu destaco as seguintes partes:
