Hi I'm Craig
« on: September 04, 2016, 12:11:34 AM »
Dear loved ones
I spoke with mr Alderfor yesterday & he suggested that I repost bio of myself.
I don't post often because I'm a recluse (a gregarious one), and don't pursue pictures of kitties on Facebook or participate in giving each other kudos for this or that. Not to say that good words are not beneficial and encouraging, but we have been told by celestials to keep that to a minimum.
My name is Craig. I was born Friday the 13 of May 1949
In my 20s I was a slotmechanic at the Mapes hotel casino, when a cocktail waitress asked me out. On our 2nd date she gave me a copy of the Urantia book. I quickly realized what it was, and while never reading it from cover to cover, have spent some good time perusing it. A side note-- my friends and family recently gifted me with hearing aids which work with Bluetooth, so now I can actually hear people (somewhat), hear phone calls pretty darned well AND listen to the UB audio on my new smart phone -- love it.
I am concerned about the catastrophic mess we are in, resource depletion, a 7 day JIT food and gas system, and especially about how Ill-prepared we are for collapse of infrastructure.
My life work seems designing and building off grid solar devices, learning about peak resources, trying to prep for disaster, and working on gardening, seed saving and praying for divine intervention to save us from ourselves

I am trying to learn TR in my slovenly way, slowly and intermittently, and have received some curious messages that I am still hesitant to post.   Mr. Alderfor suggested I try at a designated time each day to coerce the celestial a into believing that I am sincere about it.   I will sure try.

I am blessed IMHO that I often am in the forefront of learning many things before others do. I don't know if this is luck or guidance but it is way cool.

There is a truth which runs along with this forum that has kept me here and reading for some years now.  Things here just make sense -- not all things, but those that do are pretty revelatory compared with most of life

I am an Agondonter by definition and suspect that valuable work can be done here before we 'know' we are.
I hope to participate in short term sustainability, that is, how to use things after collapse/disaster to help those left with tools to continue.
How to use solar whenever possible.
WhAt to plant that is quickest & most nutritious.
How to disinfect water and distill.
Building add on greenhouses.
Retrofitting resources--using auto parts, satellite dishes, aluminum and  other upstream materials in novel & new ways.
Etc.

I should stop as I go on forever, but to those I have not properly welcomed, I am excited about our connection. Thank you
Peace and XOXOXO
Craig

Hi Craig and fellow agondonter--
Thanks for sharing.  I, too, am a recluse when it comes to being out there on the internet.  I have never really been comfortable with much of it.
It was just a few months ago that I started to t/r, and still do not get many.  I want to be as sure as I can that it is right, so I usually wait a day or two before it gets posted because I want it to percolate in my mind and heart and listen to Father Within before its a go.  I will tell you that the first one is the hardest, but I find with more time at it, it begins to feel more organic and natural.  I look forward to reading yours soon.

Blessings,

Hello Craig, I am fairly new to the forum and was lead to it by my TA I am sure.  I was reading one of Daniels transmissions when I noticed he was from Vegas.  Well I  lived in Las Vegas as an entertainer and my daughter and grandsons live in Henderson.  I also met my wife while I was singing in a small casino there.  I must have been drawn to Daniel's missive because I called him on a whim and he was so gracious that I have become a member and feel like I have come home.  Our heavenly Father really knows what we need, even before we do.  Anyway, I want welcome you to our home and hope you have a great and wonderful learning and loving experience.  Your new friend, Dorian
