A Prayer meeting of note

Dear reader,

Many a time, on this forum, the impression is left that we are living in a time where  there is little enthusiasm for the spiritual.

This coming weekend, the 27th of October 2018, a prayer meeting called Its Time is organised to take place where 5 million people are expected to turn up from all corners of the country. It may turn out to represent 9 percent of the population.

Two thousand five hundred hectares of farmland, including the private airfield, is prepared to accommodate the attendants. It is a massive undertaking under the leadership of a retired farmer turned evangelist, Angus Buchan.

  Says Angus:-
“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
I think that's exactly where we are in South Africa at the moment. We are just ordinary people with the nature just like Elijah’s and God is reminding us that if we would pray continually the prayer of faith, He will answer those prayers.

The Lord impressed upon me to tell the multitude of people that we need to go back home and become a praying people. We need to develop a praying way of life and in fact, a praying culture.
