Count me in. I would like to be there. I've read a bit about this.

I want to take a minute and reply to this post by occerpa about AI and my own observations on the subject. Everybody, or at least most of us, want only the best for all mankind. AI, at this point in time, will deliver many good things.

However, until this planet begins to recognize all humans internal piece of The Universal Father (Thought Adjuster) as the way to live, AI, being a scientific invention of our society, will be imperfect. It will contain good info as well as bad info.

It is designed for one purpose, although it can be pointed in different directions for the gathering of such information. That's it's design--gather all pertinent information on any subject presented. It is not a judge, not a jury and it will reflect mankind's inherent imperfections. My point being, we are incapable in the present time with our imperfect minds to be able to program AI properly in relation to spiritual matters. Machines, like AI, are not able to discriminate good from evil, even if programming in this regard is attempted.

Machines, and therefore AI, reflect only what information is given without the capability to judge such findings as spiritually perfect or imperfect. Perfection is a deep well of a subject because in all beings created, it is a goal to be attained, and not usually one we possess in our current iteration. We are driven by our Thought Adjuster to find God and be like Him, but we aren't there yet. Neither are our inventions, like AI.

In reading everyone's posts about AI and it's ongoing rise, I remind everybody of the old computer programmers' statement of GIGO. Garbage In, Garbage Out.

AI is a computer programming development, and it's great, at times. It's able to gather and interpret large amounts of date in the blink of an eye (most of the time). However, all data is not always quality data. It is merely...data.

What needs to happen for all of us, the users of AI, is the setting of standards regarding what is collected, it's actual value and it's truthfulness or correctness (scientifically). Is it giving answers based on actual proven to be truthful facts? Until these standards are agreed upon, implemented and universally accepted, it's the Wild West of computer technology.

Will it be great in the future? Yes, I do think it will change the world of information gathering and distribution which will change our world. It will touch everyones life in many ways and much of it will be good.

However, we all must remain aware it is fallible in its present state. And, it can be manipulated to serve nefarious interests, both secular and spiritual. Caution should be the word of the day when using AI in our day to day lives.

Very well said and appreciated. Politics is a heated subject almost all the time. I don't want to seem as some kind of authority on this subject. Let me just say for the record: My thoughts were about the rule of law in our Justice Department and the United States Constitution.

I was fortunate in high school to learn under older teachers. The school district was unique in America due to a Constitutional issue that I won't go into here. Anyone who wants can investigate the Prince Edward County Virginia history in the 60s and the closing of the public schools there.

We moved there when I was 13 so we were not involved in the original happenings and had no real opinions about it. I just went there because that was the school open to me. Because of the closings, the teachers I had were older and had been teaching for many years. They were in the grandparent range of age and I came to appreciate that in them. No fooling around---learn your lessons!

I had a year long course on politics and that included a thorough study of the Constitution and it's creation as well as the documents created before and after the ratification of said document. It made me, at an early age, cognizant of these documents and the history surrounding their creation and most especially in their relation to us in Virginia.

So, I approach politics with that study in mind. It usually is my primary interest in the current happenings in our country. Is it constitutional or not? That's usually my first stop on the road to understanding candidates for office.

I like the end quote you posted "Accepting our differences not as barriers, but as opportunities to grow together in wisdom and compassion, is the challenge and promise of a Humanity that seeks to transcend self-imposed limitations and reveal and transform into action the Truth that resides within each one of us."

I have nothing further to say and will discontinue any postings from here on out. Politics is divisive and I do not wish that to continue. Everyone has opinions and sometimes the best opinion is a silent opinion or none at all.

The Forum is supposed to be about spiritual things and is not a good place for arguments about current events and wayward politicians wherever they may be.

I would never wish to contend with anybody, especially Ron, about anything on this Forum. I value his friendship and the other members as well. Silence in this instance, is truly golden.

Please remove any postings of mine you wish as they serve no valuable purpose at this point. Like a family argument, some things are better left in the past and forgotten.

Allow me to retort. Perhaps my post should be reread. My post was about the US Constitution and a skewed Justice system usage to silence political opponents. I held up neither candidate as the proper choice. In fact, I pointed  this out-- "I am not here to say Trump is, or is not, a great guy."

One other point I find most distressing is the aspersions about race. I said NOTHING about race. We cannot help our color, only our actions. My wife is Asian and her race is not a big factor in our relationship. Her actions and mine, are. Ms. Harris is a different race than me, so what? It matters not. Actions matter.

But since it was flopped on the table, allow me to express this POV. Race is used when all intelligent debate has been exhausted. It, to my thinking, is the bottom card in the deck. People assume that because I was born and raised in the Southern United States, I am automatically a racist. That, to me, seems a stereotyping designed to win the argument at any cost and is basically unacceptable. I was raised to honor people's achievements no matter their race or proclaimed religious views. I'm a musician. Some of the finest musicians in the world are of a different race than me and I have studied them all to learn more! Color disappears when we make music which is why I made it my life's work.

It seems that politics can be discussed NOT by any other than the purveyor of this Forum without severe reprimand. My visit to Ron's property was a highlight for my new wife and me. In fact, we returned at his request to film the property since he told us of changes to come to that place in the coming Missions. We still have those ready anytime they are needed. We considered it an honor to be asked.

We did this with love and care, so to be relegated to the margins as "dreamy" and that I further thought ill of Ron and his ability I submit not to be true.
Au contraire, I found him a genial host and felt inside that he has tremendous spiritual power which was why I brought my then newly married bride to meet him in person! I wanted her to meet someone I felt was extremely important in the future of our nation and our planet.

My post was more about Constitutional law than about personalities and emotions. I reverently submit to you that the politics were in your own statements, not in mine. However, you are in charge and I am not.
I surmise that subjects are taboo unless spoken by persons annointed to address such things. I will avoid ANY posting in the future as was my habit before. Sorry for speaking up.
We believe that to err is human. To blame it on someone else is politics.

Threads for New Transmissions / Re: Regarding Trump, not the true issue.
« : September 13, 2024, 16:10:01 PM »
I try not to speak too much about these postings but when I see something that I deem to be misleading due to a non understanding of a situation on the ground of the US, I feel compelled to.

Trump being accused and convicted of felonies sounds terrible, but if one looks deeper, one will see more of the true story. I am not here to say Trump is, or is not, a great guy. I am here to speak about the weaponization of the United States' judicial system to prosecute a political opponent which is exactly what happened in these cases against Trump.

Understand, this is Unconstitutional. The judges and prosecutors in these cases are elected officials. They are all Democrats and they will skew the facts to demonize Trump, not because he did something wrong, but because he is not of their political party. They have nebulous evidence of wrongdoing, a "he said, she said" case. Is he totally innocent? Who knows? But is he receiving a fair trial? He is NOT.

In my mind, it brings forth the horrid thoughts of Germany in 1929. Hitler and his followers used similar tactics to bend the people's will toward accepting Hitler, the worst criminal of the age! It has become apparent to those of us living in America that BOTH parties have lost the will to represent the best interest of our nation.

They have lost their way and exalted the act of winning alone to the supreme level of what truly matters. Winning is not what truly matters unless the winning is for the betterment of ALL involved, most especially the average people. Morals matter. God in our nation matters. Many ruling party members  have plainly and openly demonized those who honor our Lord. How is that to our betterment?

I'm not a party member of either side. This election has devolved into a high-school popularity contest for us to choose up sides and smell armpits. Is that really what the free world needs? Leadership based on popularity? Does not Russia and China operating joint naval exercises and Putin's threats to unleash nuclear weapons on the West need a more intelligent solution than who looks the best on camera? I submit to all on this Forum and to the Celestials that it does! At this moment in our history, we need the best choices and we do not see that at this moment. The lesser of two evils comes to mind unfortunately.

I will say this plainly. I love this Forum and the people here, deeply. But the moderators lose me when they venture into political judgements while leaving out my nation's Constitutional Law. Is it a perfect document? Certainly not, but it's the best one I've read in my lifetime because it was created by individuals of high principle. Men and women who put God first in their thinking while at the same time trying to avoid the problems of institutional religions controlling a government! Mankind created religions and what man creates is usually not perfect. Not religions and not governments.

We in America and maybe everywhere should pray as Lincoln did: "that government, of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth." Look to solve the glaring problems and skip the popularity contest haggling.

Some Thoughts Muses & Meanderings / Re: THE DEVIL'S MINEFIELDS

I would like to briefly address the US horrific record in South America reference by Occerpa. It is abysmal. Americans have not been taught to properly treat our neighbors to the south very well indeed. The proliferation of drugs and drug empires have become a result of this inability to help with the proper governance of the continent south of our border.

We are not taught the history of those countries and it's a shame we aren't. I think that Americans should be more educated about these nations and learn to appreciate their cultures. They have much to offer.

In many ways, it seems they are still suffering from the disadvantages of European colonization by Spain and others. South America was systematically enslaved and robbed of its natural resources to raise the standard of living in Europe. In fact, North America suffered much of this ravishing as well but the move for independence in N. America took a different path.

The Spanish had, at the time, a vibrant culture but it became focused by the Catholic Church and others on the usage of South American gold and other natural resources to fund the building of huge navys and churches that wow the senses with their opulence!

But we, in the so-called modern age, have not learned our lessons very well in regards to materialism. We still rape and pillage others for what we think we need with spiritualism taking a back seat to our still present desire for imperial power and material gain.

My hope and prayer is that the coming of our Lord and Master Jesus will show our planet the new way, the proper way to treat each other and to build nations dedicated to truth, beauty and goodness for all.

I will venture something to say. I'll be shot down, but here it is anyway. Weak Presidents cause war. It's not my opinion, it's history. Ms. Harris is weak. She has no achievements to speak of, no beliefs to propound, no agenda other than to win and no real plan for America or the world. She's a Kleenex when we need a towel. I want to state this plainly, I am not fond of Trump. He's overbearing and loud. He speaks when he should listen. However, he has served as a President once before and did an okay job. He's not my first choice for the job amongst the Republican party but he's what they got right now. He's not weak.

Kamala Harris seems to be a new version of Warren Harding, who was elected president in 1920.  Harding was a lightweight Senator from Ohio who stunningly secured the Republican nomination for President.

Here's a description from a book by Bill O'Reilly: "Warren Harding is not in the forefront.  His time in the Senate has been lackluster, a series of missed votes and general laziness.  He has written hundreds of passionate letters to his mistress on Senate stationery."

Ms. Harris is secretive and unavailable to answer serious questions so it's like she has ghosted the entire country. The specter of WWIII has been put forth in these Forum writings as in "what would poor Ms. Harris do?" Lose is what she would do, and lose badly. Would Trump do better? Nobody can truthfully know that until the day comes and come it may. Another thing to note, Putin supports Harris. Gee, I wonder why?

We in America have the idea that a woman and most certainly a woman of color is the appropriate person to elect to assuage our conscience over our abysmal history of slavery and attachment to male dominance. I do not disagree, however, and this is important--the right woman! Electing a weak female President to answer for our forefathers sins will serve only to make it more difficult in the future for a capable woman, of which there are many, to be thus elected. "Wokeness" will deprive truly capable individuals the opportunity to serve. I adjure you, elect the right woman when she appears.

I study history as my favorite pastime. I am almost a scholar with the textbooks I have read over my lifetime. I grew up in Virginia and was trained in a private school about early American history giving me a taste for history of any type including world history. Weak Presidents bring war and that's the truth.

GOD DOES ALL

Life will hunt you, life will blunt you
Life will drag you down
God will love you, God will hug you
Turn your life around

You’ll be crushed up, you’ll be smushed up
Wish that you were gone
He will feel you, God will heal you
God will make you strong

God does all, stops your fall
Saves your soul, makes you whole.
God does all, hear His call
Makes things right, saves your life.

When you’re hurting’, so uncertain
What’s the path you need?
God’s the first in, God’s your best friend
He just asks believe.

Being a professional musician and composer myself, I found your list wonderful! The purpose of this Forum is wide ranging but is to "be about the Father's business." Music, in my life, has been instrumental in growing my faith. I found Rap and HipHop offensive due to its lack of musicality and abhorrent lyrical content. However, I digress.
Feelings evoked by songs and music can border on the spiritual and many times can achieve the spiritual level so I think you were fine posting your preferences. I, like you, look forward to enjoying the artistry in the next level of our advancement should we choose that life. Why one would not, escapes me but to each his own. Perhaps it's best to keep our musical and artistic preferences off this Forum, but in my mind and life, all things connect spiritually if we let them.
