Hi Dominick and group,
To clarify my quote from “To the Hebrews 5:5,” the reference to Michael’s first incarnation, where he lived as a Melchizedek, has a direct connection to the UB teachings. That is followed by the description of his final incarnation, living the human life of Jesus, yet subject to doing only the will of The Father, where he “ learned obedience from his suffering. This also, fortifies the Urantia Book narrative.
Instead of referring to Jesus as an “only-begotten” son, the passage refers to him as “a Son,” a term that we recognize from the UB.
But, the part that is so pertinent to the “Source Code Oracle” is the last part about how they had grown used to “milk” (biblical story about Jesus) and need to be given “strong meat” (the Urantia revelation), referring to our need to be “taught again, as to the ORACLES of God.”
It may be centuries old, be these glimpses of the Melchizedek teachings are still in evidence in the Bible. Just as we have been taught not to put “new wine into old wineskins,” so shall we not seek to alter, or change, the Source Code, the original Urantia revelation. Of course, this is only my opinion, based on my faithful study of God’s Word. Namaste.
