Good morning All!
Dear Pleiadeans, is there any word that you would like us to have today?
Yes, Carole. Yesterday we talked about the importance of the now moment, and the potential for great good in spur of the moment decisions.
So, you ask, salvation is a destination, (isn't it?) So what is the process that leads to salvation?
Is it "evolution"? Is it "spiritual growth"? Our day to day activities proceed along a path, like a labyrinth. We go here and there, and ultimately come out at the destination (which is a large flat rock, as in the SFA {Stephen F. Austin State University} arboretum, for example). But then we turn around and go back by the same way. That only makes sense in a physical labyrinth.
But you may say, well, we go through a new labyrinth every day, and it is often much the same. What is the process toward the resting place called?
The now moment has not only twists and turns, it also has cul de sacs, where you go spiritually nowhere. That is a result of a mindless choice. Stop to consider, why am I doing this?
If your thought adjuster answers with a logical scenario, then you are on the right track.
Perhaps the most un-used word in the personal vocabulary is "why?" The news is filled with who, what, when, but the answers to How? and Why? are much more elusive. Not only elusive, but possibly annoying, because they may call for change we don't want to do.
That is why. . . it is so important to develop the desire and joy in critical thinking. We don't do it because that is what we have always done. Rather we do it because. . . This is where the Thought Adjuster comes in. We are going down a new thought path. We don't know where it is going to end up. The TA knows how to lead you through the confusions and messes to an ultimate good outcome.
Maybe we should say the "Good Outcome" is a common daily phrase for "salvation". Salvation, then, consists of "Good Outcomes" along a long trajectory.
What are we being saved from?
Good question! Bad outcomes.
And you say, "Oh My!" So how do the bad decisions of other people affect our salvation?
The ball is in your court. It is your game. God plays the game with us. He is not a passive observer. When you make a decision to do something as a result of your TA's "adjusting", then you yourself are the observer, watching the "Good Outcome" unfold. Your trust and faith in Father is where it all stems from.
Salvation is not a single event in the future. It happens every day. When we pass into the next life, salvation has already occurred and is occurring. It is like the "Polar Express" (a children's movie) where you get on the train and head for a destination we can only dimly imagine. but a wonderland nonetheless.
Here is how the Urantia book defines salvation: page 1137-1138 "True salvation is the technique of the divine evolution of the mortal mind from matter identification through the realms of morontial liaison to the high universe status of spiritual correlation. . . "
It is a journey, not a destination.
Enjoy every moment of every day, watching the Father's work through you.
Thank you Pleiadeans!
Always at your service.
